Contact: Bob King Phone: (978) 475-7330 Since 1948, the St. Vincent de Paul Society in St. Augustine parish has been quietly ministering to the needy in Andover, providing food, clothing, home furnishings, baby necessities, and help with bills to individuals and families when assistance from long-term care agencies is inadequate or unavailable. Founded in Paris in 1833, this worldwide organization operates on a person-to-person level through members of its local conferences, who rely on the generosity of their fellow parishioners for encouragement, prayers, and donations to carry out their work. The people of the St. Augustine Community have always solidly supported this Christian outreach. For assistance given in confidentiality, or to offer help, please call 978 475-7330 and leave a message in the St. Vincent de Paul voice mailbox. A member will return the call as soon as possible. Mailing address is 43 Essex St., Andover.
